Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!
In my class, I like to encourage students to do their very best and to respect themselves as well as others. Rewarding excellence, improvement, and good behavior is important in raising the student’s self esteem. Critical thinking is also encouraged as they work within my classroom and are actively involved in cooperative learning.
Homework:
Your child may have homework every day depending on how much of the assignment is completed in class; on average I will try to be providing students with 45-60 minutes of working time in class. Whatever work is not finished, students will be instructed to take it home for homework and it must be returned the following day for grading. In class your child is expected to take notes, complete assignments, and practice collaboration skills.
